Stress Concentration Near the Absolutely Rigid Inclusion in Compound Elastic Half-Plane

Abstract

A plane stress-strain state of composite half-plane containing rigid thin inclusion on the interface of different materials is considered. The governing system of singular integral equations of the problem is derived, when one side of inclusion is rigidly fastened with the matrix, and the other side is in smooth contact. The behavior of the unknown functions at the endpoints of inclusion depending on the physical parameters is studied and solution of the problem by the method of orthogonal polynomials is constructed.
