Structural Conditions for the Creation and Operation of Virtual Organizations

Abstract
The article concerns such phenomena as virtual organizations and the virtualization of economic activity. For the purpose of the discussion, the virtual organization is defined as a specific form of cooperation between businesses and at the same time seen as a temporary networked organizational form, i.e. one characterized by a certain network of links, such that the organization deems most convenient. Finally, based on the findings of their own research, the authors endeavor to identify the extent to which businesses in the region of Kujawsko-Pomorskie have already undergone virtualization.
