STRUCTURAL DISTURBANCES IN BRAIN CORTEX AT EXPERIMENTAL STROKE PHARMACOTHERAPY

Abstract
In experimental study we showed the development of the structural changes in rat cerebral cortex during the second stroke. In the acute phase of stroke we observed edema of neurons and destruction of synapses in cerebral cortex both hemispheres. The using of peptide drugs cerebral, cortexin and cerebrolysin prevents destruction of synapses and provides plasticity of brain injured area.
