STRUCTURE OF GROUPS OF EIGENFREQUENCIES IN SPECTRA OF GEOMAGNETIC PULSATIONS IN THE NIGHTSIDE MAGNETOSPHERE
Journal Title: Solar-Terrestrial Physics - Year 2022, Vol 8, Issue 3
Abstract
Using a new method of correlation function for amplitude and phase fluctuations (APCF), records of geomagnetic field component fluctuations (observatories Mondy and Borok) have been processed for a number of hour zones of the nightside magnetosphere. This method is meant to detect groups of equidistant frequencies inside the spectrum of source signal and also to measure a difference between two neighbor frequencies in each of these groups.

Monitoring observations of meteor echo at the EKB ISTP SB RAS radar: algorithms, validation, statistics
The paper considers the implementation of algorithms for automatic search for signals scattered by meteor trails according to EKB ISTP SB RAS radar data. In general, the algorithm is similar to the algorithms adopted in...
FEATURES OF EXCITATION AND AZIMUTHAL AND MERIDIONAL PROPAGATION OF LONG-PERIOD PI3 OSCILLATIONS OF THE GEOMAGNETIC FIELD ON DECEMBER 8, 2017
We study the Pi3 pulsations (with a period T=15–30 min) that were recorded on December 8, 2017 at ground stations in the midnight sector of the magnetosphere at the latitude range of DP2 current system convective electro...
Spectral properties of solar wind plasma flux and magnetic field fluctuations across fast reverse interplanetary shocks
We have analyzed spectra of fluctuations in the solar wind plasma flux and the magnetic field magnitude near the front of a fast reverse shocks, using data from the BMSW device (Bright Monitor of Solar Wind) operating on...
LONG-TERM SOLAR FLUX OBSERVATIONS WITH IRKUTSK INCOHERENT SCATTER RADAR (IISR) IN 2011–2019
Irkutsk incoherent scatter radar (IISR) is an oblongish horn antenna that operates in a meter waveband (154–162 MHz), has a 0.5°×20° beam, and a frequency steering allowing us to tilt the beam by 30° to the south. Beside...
EARLY DIAGNOSTICS OF GEOMAGNETIC STORMS BASED ON OBSERVATIONS OF SPACE MONITORING SYSTEMS
We address the problem of early diagnostics of geomagnetic storms based on the use of models of coordinates of movements of centers of solar coronal mass ejections (CME) and observations of their angular positions obtain...
