STRUGGLE WITH DUST ON OPEN MOUNTAIN WORKS

Abstract

The issues of controlling the ventilation modes of coal mines in the process of conducting mine rescue work as a result of accidents - explosions of methane and coal dust, as well as the emerged underground fires. The problem of ensuring the correspondence of the reversal modes of ventilation, provided for in the Accident Management Plans, with realistically feasible at the time of emergency situations, is outlined. The necessity of carrying out predictive ventilation calculations of normal ventilation modes is shown taking into account the conditions prevailing in the post-accident period and cases of reversion of ventilation jets. The necessity of solving the problem of obtaining the initial data required for this purpose is substantiated. Given the current conditions for intensive development of coal seams with the use of powerful coal mining complexes, the measures recommended in the article should be taken into account and measures taken to implement them
