СТРУКТУРНО-ТИПОЛОГІЧНІ ОСОБЛИВОСТІ УКРАЇНСЬКИХ І НІМЕЦЬКИХ НАРОДНИХ ЗАГАДОК

Abstract
У статті досліджено композиційну організацію текстів народних загадок неблизькоспоріднених мов. Форми репрезентації змісту традиційних українських і німецьких енігматичних текстів зіставляються на внутрішньомовних рівнях з метою виявлення еквівалентних, частково еквівалентних та безеквівалентних структурних типів. Таким чином, у статті актуалізується поняття еквівалентності за таким критерієм, як план вираження (зовнішня форма). This article deals with the compositional organization of texts of Ukrainian and German folk riddles and explores their structural aspects within the framework of structural, linguistic and cultural approaches. The material of research is the author's card index (4294 texts of Ukrainian and 3987 texts of German folk riddles), created through purposeful search in Ukrainian and German-language editions. The research treats the folk riddle as a linguistic and cultural phenomenon, while elucidating the specific means through which the national and cultural components of its contents are verbalized in the contrasted languages. The forms of representation of the content of traditional Ukrainian and German enigmatic texts are compared at the inter-language levels in order to identify equivalent, partially equivalent and non-equivalent structural types. Thus, in this article the concept of equivalence under such a criterion as the plan of expression (external form) is updated. There is a great variety of forms in which the content of riddles is embodied, but the first and the oldest form of their existence and functioning is a question that needs to be answered. That is why the peculiarities of the structural organization of Ukrainian and German folk riddles are mainly of a universal nature and of the nature of the riddle as one of the most organized text forms. According to the results of the analysis of the material, there is a tendency to compose popular riddles in prose: 64.4 % (2577 units) of Ukrainian and 81.8 % (3273 units) of German folk riddles. The content of the riddle is mostly embodied in an extremely simple form of question (explicit or implicitly expressed). Moreover, 77.2 % (3088 Ukrainian riddles) and 60.8 % (2432 German riddles) are presented in the form of the implicit question, so they are written as narrative sentences, though they tend to different structural types. Most Ukrainian folk riddles – 60.8 % (2432 units) – are constituted in the form of a simple judgment and expressed in the form of a simple sentence, moreover, 35.75 % (1430 Ukrainian riddles) are designed as elliptical sentences, whereas 62.2 % of German folk riddles (2488 units) are complex judgments, which have the form of a complex sentence.
