Studies of primary microwave frequency converters based on the measuring cell with rectangular window
Journal Title: Технічна механіка, Техническая механика, Technical Mechanics - Year 2016, Vol 2, Issue 2
Abstract
The goal of this work is to estimate the effect of the dielectric properties, shape, and geometric dimensions of inserts in a rectangular window of a waveguide meter thick-walled diaphragm `on the reflection and transmis-sion coefficients. The estimation of the effects of the geometric dimensions, forms and dielectric properties of the material for partial filling the measuring waveguide cell on its resonance properties has been simulated on the computer. The method of partial domains has been chosen as an apparatus for modeling. The form of the sample of partial dielectric filling for meters with a rectangular window of an insert was demonstrated to affect the frequency characteristics of the measuring cell. Dielectric samples in the form of a parallelepiped may increase the sensitivity of primary microwave frequency converters in comparison with cylindrical samples. A limiting cross-section area for materials under consideration may not exceed 7 mm2.

Conditions of stability of switching systems
Dynamic systems described by a combination of differential equations and a discrete switching signal are examined. The research objective is to find an upper estimate for the Lyapunov maximum exponent of the switched sy...
Development of firearm silencers with spherical baffles
The aim of this work is to develop promising multi-chamber firearm silencers with spherical baffles. To achieve this objective, the advisability of using spherical baffles in the powder gas energy absorber has been sub-s...
Nonlinear Oscillation of Free Surface of a Liquid into Horizontally Located Cylindrical Tank
Incompletely filled tanks are an integral part of many existing objects of transport machine-building and aerospace engineering. In the motion of these objects active environmental effects lead to fluid oscillation accom...
Semiempirical technique for determining coefficient of liquid inertia resistance due to inverse flows at inlet of centrifugal inclined Archimedean screw pump
The paper deals with return flows at inlet of centrifugal inclined Archimedean screw pumps of liquid rocket propulsions (LRP) affecting the LRP dynamic characteristics. At present experimental dependencies of fluid oscil...
Numerical simulation of axially symmetric flow around bodies of simple configurations using hierarchy grids
A variation of the statistic Monte-Carlo method for the stationary statement, namely test particles method (TPM), is considered. The study objective is to develop the TPM using computations on hierarchy grids. The replac...
