Abstract
Aim of this research was assessment of quenching oil influence on microstructure and mechanical properties of 34CrMo4 quenched and tempered steel. Conducted work includes analysis of microstructure and examining mechanical properties of heat treated steel quenched in Hartex70S and OH120M oils with following tempering. Fracture surfaces of specimens used in impact test were subject to microfractographic research.
