Journal Title: Journal of Advances in Internal Medicine - Year 2011, Vol 2, Issue 4

Abstract

An agronomic investigation entitled “Studies on soybean based intercropping system with different row ratios” was carried out at Agricultural farm, Department of Agronomy, Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani during kharif 2009 on vertisoles to find out suitable cropping system and row proportion for optimizing yield recovery of soybean, maize and sorghum as intercrop. The highest soybean equivalent yield, gross monetary returns and net monetary returns were recorded with the treatment soybean +maize (3:3) and were followed by soybean +sorghum (3:3).
