Study And Analysis Of Hadoop Based Network Intrusion Detection System.
Journal Title: International Journal of Engineering and Science Invention - Year 2017, Vol 6, Issue 12
Abstract
Network security is a paramount concern for the organization. To secure the network, we have traditional network intrusion detection systems and firewalls but they have limitations like size of training data sets .With the inception of Hadoop technology, in industry, recently researchers have started using this new technology with traditional machine learning algorithms which generally uses pattern matching, to design and develop network intrusion detection system based on streaming of big-data using Hadoop that checks for intrusions in massive amount of data that flows in and out. In this paper, we are proposing a study and analysis of various Hadoop based network intrusion systems. Here the parameters used for comparison are detection rate and false-positive alarm rate.

Microwave Assisted Synthesis and Characterization of O-Alkyl or O-Aryl Trithiophosphate Derivatives of Ruthenium
An environ-economic route is used for the synthesis of ruthenium (III) derivatives of O-alkyl or O-aryl trithiophosphate in 1:3 molar ratio to form Ru[SSK(S)POR]3 where ( R= Me, Et, Pri , Bui , Ph, CH2Ph ) respectively....
Development of a Palm Fruit Bunch Chopper and Spikelet Stripper
The inadequacy of processing technology involved in the palm fruit processing has been attributed to the manual method and individualized processing machinery. This imposes the need to develop an all-in-one machine to in...
Ab initio method with general model space: A challenge For Electronic Structure Theory
The main difficulty in any CAS-based MR method calculations arises from the use of CAS in constructing many-electron wave functions as the exponential increase of the size of the model space when one increases the number...
Parametric Index Analysis of Effects of Effluents and Solid Wastes on Ukwaka Streams, Nnewi, Nigeria
Many industries in Nigeria discharge their wastewater into surface waters without any form of treatment .Equally, solid wastes were indiscriminately dumped into streams. These contribute a lot of toxic wastes to stream.H...
Sea Level Manipulation
Sea level changes is a key issue in the global warming scenario. It has been widely claimed that sea is rising as a function of the late 20th’s warming pulse. Global tide gauge data sets may vary between +1.7 mm/yr to +0...
