Study for Improvement of Vibration Characteristics of Portal Cranes

Abstract

In this study, I examine ways to improve vibration characteristics at the time of hanging a container by making a model of an automatically controlled tire-mounted portal crane and analyzing the behavior of the crane. The swing behavior is examined in relation the changes in patterns of hanging a container, and it is suggested that there is a possibility that vibration characteristics can be improved.
