Study of fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum L.) in the conditions of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan

Abstract
The solution to the problem of fodder vegetable protein in the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan is an urgent task. One of the most important tasks of solving this problem is the study of different varieties of annual leguminous plants. The goal of this work is the selection of adapted varieties of fenugreek hay for an autonomous republic. During the course of 2017, we studied 2 varieties of fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum L.). It is found out that the yield of local varieties of fenugreek exceeds the imported varieties. The optimal seeding and seeding rates of fenugreek seeds are determined, which ensure a high mass of green fodder, and seeds.
