(2) To find out the prevalence of cervical abnormalities in the study group comprising of 100 HIV positive women and 100 HIV negative women as a control. Material and MethodsThe present study was conducted in the department of Pathology, GMC, Patiala on 100 cervical brushings prepared from HIV positive patients attending ART Centre at GMC and hospital, Patiala and 100 cervical brushings prepared from HIV negative women as a control which were prepared in the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Rajindra Hospital, Patiala.
