STUDY OF THE PARAMETERS OF THE EVACUATION PROCESS AFFECTING THE FIRE RISK OF DESIGNED AND UTILIZED BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES
Journal Title: International scientific journal Science and Innovation - Year 2024, Vol 3, Issue 12
Abstract
This article analyzes methods for assessing fire hazards in buildings and structures. It covers various aspects, including: lower and upper flammability limits and their compositions in material, self-ignition temperatures and characteristics, concentration explosion limits, fire heat and the toxicity of volatile products. Additionally, it discusses the calculation of evacuation conditions and times, determining actual evacuation times for people, and assessing the functionality of fire protection systems during evacuation. The article emphasizes the importance of information and control functions during evacuation, the calculation of fire hazards threatening human life and health, and the geometric parameters of escape routes and exits, ensuring compliance with safety requirements.
