STUDY OF TITANIUM ELASTIC NAILING FOR FRACTURE SHAFT FEMUR IN CHILDREN BETWEEN 3 TO 13 YEARS OF AGE

Abstract
Treatment of Displaced diaphyseal femoral shaft fracture in children between 3 to 13 years is controversial. Various methods are available for treatment. Titanium elastic nailing is one of the methods for treatment of femur shaft fracture in children. In our study we have assessed the outcome of titanium elastic nailing for fracture shaft femur in children. We have found that titanium elastic nailing has excellent results in treatment of femur shaft fracture in children. Also it is less time consuming.
