Study on axon outgrowth of PC-12 cell affected by polypyrrole

Abstract
Three polypyrrole films are electrodeposited on glass substrate by changing the dopants and the numbers of films. Scanning electron microscopy (Hitachi-530 SEM) is used to characterize surface morphology. The numbers of nerve cells are observed by optics microscope with the electrical stimulation of the anode. So the surface and physic characterizations of polypyrrole films can be changed by the dopants, and the numbers of films.
