For the purpose of the study 120 ginger growers were selected. Ex post facto research was followed. The collected data were processed through descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and regression analysis. The results revealed that, majority of the respondents (72.50%) had medium level of adoption. Correlation analysis revealed that, variables namely family type, size of operational land holding, occupational status, mass media exposure, extension contact, risk preference and economic motivation. Further, for regression analysis, the variables which were found to have significant relationship with the dependent variable were considered. Thus, this signified that, seven variables taken together could explain 54.1 percent, of the total variation in respondent’s extent of adoption.
