STUDYING IMPACT OF DEFLECTOR SHAPE ON ACCELERATIONS FORCED BY EXPLOSION OF SMALL EXPLOSIVE CHARGE

Abstract

This paper presents the results of experimental tests of accelerations caused by the detonation of low-power explosive charges. The field tests were performed on a specially-designed research station. With the right design and the correct selection of the measuring equipment, vertical accelerations were measured for the three basic shields used in explosion-resistant vehicles. The recorded parameters were analysed in terms of the angle of the impact of the shock wave on the shield and its distance from the centre of the deto-nation on their size.
