Subject fullness of educational views ancient Rus enlighteners of the XII-XIV century

Abstract
The article is concerned with the complete analysis of the theoretical heritage of the old Russian enlighteners. The ideological essence of pedagogical views of ancient thinkers has been revealed. The dominant pedagogical principles, methodological approaches that were innovative in relation to the historical era under study have been determined. The purpose of the article is to reveal the meaningful content of the pedagogical views of the old enlighteners that were spread on the territory of Kievan Rus in the 12th-14th centuries. The author reveals the influence of history-philosophical determinants on the formation of the ideological convictions of the enlighteners of that time. The attention is focused on the value orientations of education that reflected the level of socio-cultural development of the state. Historical and pedagogical, historical and genetic, stage-by-stage problem, chronologically meaningful and biographical methods have been used in the research. The use of such a broad methodological spectrum has allowed to structurize the determinants of development of the Enlightenment on the territory of Kievan Rus. It is proved that the pedagogical views of these enlighteners served as an unchangeable source of substantiation of the ideological content of the organization of teaching and educational process of the period under study. In the stated historical period, the Enlightenment functions in the context of the solution of two tasks - the spread of Christianity and education, on which the idea of the primary development of the spiritual sphere of an individual, its religiosity and morality is imposed. The above stated determinants become the fundamental idea of the Orthodox Enlightenment, and they grow into a trend in the civilizational context.
