SUBSTANCE OF COMPETENCE-BASED APPROACH IN THE HIGER EDUCATION

Abstract
The content of the concepts “competence”, “competency”, “competence-based approach” was interpreted. The substance of competence-based approach at the present stage of future experts training was interpreted during training in a higher educational institution. Special attention is paid to consideration of the specified terms in a social and pedagogical context. On the foundation of the theoretical analysis it is noted that all definitions offered by scientists don’t contradict to each other, and they are complementary.
