SUBSTANTIATION OF PSYCHOLOGIC-AND-DIAGNOSTIC TOOLS FOR STYDYING OF THE DYNAMICS OF PROFESSIONAL EXPECTATIONS OF STUDENTS PSYCHOLOGISTS

Abstract

A number of recent domestic and foreign publications on studying of professional expectations has been analyzed in the paper. Tools for studying the dynamics of professional expectations of future psychologists have been substantiated. It was found that psychological expectations are «hypothetical construct» which appears as a set of personal and professional features of a future psychologist. Interconnection of professional expectations of a future psychologist with self-appraisal, level of intentions, motivation, interactive-and-perceptive competence and a factor of profession attractiveness has been showed up. Offered tools allow exploring efficiently the educationaland-professional expectations of future psychologists at every stage of their professional development. The latest theoretical and practical achievements in studying of professional expectations that proved their effectiveness have been taken into account while choosing the adequate tools. In the future, it is necessary to make and implement into practice of pedagogical activity of a Higher Educational Institution a complex program aimed to the development of adequate professional expectations and correction of destructive expectations of future psychologists in the educational process on the basis of obtained results.
