Supply and demand vs. price driven graphs financial data visualization
Journal Title: International Journal on Computer Science and Engineering - Year 2011, Vol 3, Issue 8
Abstract
In the financial world, people almost every day, argue whether the price of a financial instrument will go up or down. While long term investors use fundamental data to create their view, mid & short term investors and traders use charts to detect patterns and forecast the future price movement. In this paper, I look at the benefits of using supply and demand driven chart - the ManoStick to visualize financial data.

An Algorithmic Approach for Efficient Image Compression using Neuro-Wavelet Model and Fuzzy Vector Quantization Technique
Applications, which need to store large database and/or transmit digital images requiring high bit-rates over channels with limited bandwidth, have demanded improved image compression techniques. This paper describes pra...
Comparing Neural Network Approach with N-Gram Approach for Text Categorization
This paper compares Neural network Approach with N-gram approach, for text categorization, and demonstrates that Neural Network approach is similar to the N-gram approach but with much less judging time. Both methods dem...
Multiplication Algorithms for VLSI - A Review
In today’s digital world, where portable computers have become as small as the size of palm limitation on processing speed has increased. Thus there’s a need for modification in the traditional approach to overcome this...
Bilateral Filtering using Modified Fuzzy Clustering for Image Denoising
This paper presents a novel bilateral filtering using weighed cm algorithm based on Gaussian kernel function for image manipulations such as segmentation and denoising . Our roposed bilateral filtering consists of the...
