Support from public funds and the development of small and medium sized enterprises in Germany

Abstract
The purpose of this article is to identify the type and scale of SME support in the area of preferential crediting and export guarantees in the German economy and its impact on the development of small and medium-sized enterprises. The author makes an attempt to identify the conditions for obtaining this support and the effectiveness of the offered programs, both in terms of the expectations of SMEs and the economy as a whole. In this analysis were used recent statistics data and sources allowing to capture long-term trends.
