SUR LA DEFORMATION D'UN TUBE CYLINDRIQUE
Journal Title: ROMANIAN JOURNAL OF TECHNICAL SCIENCES - APPLIED MECHANICS - Year 2010, Vol 55, Issue 1
Abstract

MODELING THE EVOLUTION OF FATIGUE FAILURE WITH PERIDYNAMICS
Holes and round notches are locations where fatigue cracks may arrest. Investigating the evolution of fatigue cracks after sinking into such a hole is important. Here we extend a recently proposed fatigue crack peridynam...
THE POTENTIAL OF THE 3-UPU TOPOLOGY FOR TRANSLATIONAL PARALLEL MANIPULATORS AND A PROCEDURE TO SELECT THE BEST ARCHITECTURE FOR A GIVEN TASK
The 3-UPU three degrees of freedom fully parallel manipulator, where U and P are for universal and prismatic pair respectively, is a very well known manipulator that can provide the platform with three degrees of freedom...
EFFECT OF HEAT CONDUCTION ON MACHINE PARAMETERS OF FRICTION STIR WELDED ALUMINIUM ALLOYS
W.M. Thomas at The Welding Institute of UK in 1991 invented friction stir welding for the welding of aluminium alloys and as time progress use of light weight material and others which were difficult to weld by other con...
INVARIANT CHARACTERIZING THERMALLY ACTIVATED PLASTIC FLOW
Thermal activation leads to a reduction of the flow stress below the athermal value (the zero Kelvin flow stress). The ratio between the flow stress at a given temperature and the athermal stress (at given material struc...
GAS TURBINE AS RANGE EXTENDER FOR FUTURE ELECTRIC AUTOMOBILES
The propulsion of automobiles by motors, especially by hub motors, integrated into the wheels, offers remarkable advantages in terms of vehicle dynamics, stability and freedom of movement. But the most important benefit...
