Surface Level Estimator-An Automated Contouring Instrument Varun Sai Chinthala and Gajendra Dixit DOI : 10.3844/ajeassp.2017.733.737 American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences Volume 10, Issue 3 Pages 733-737 Abstract This paper introduces a dynamic electronic instrument to measure the inclination of a surface, named as Surface Level Estimator (SLE). This device is designed to reduce the human effort and time consumed for civil surveying. This paper describes the construction, working principle, programming and experimentation results of the instrument. Finally, the conclusion and scope of future is discussed at the end of the paper. Robust and Efficient Controller to Design a Standalone Source Supplied DC and AC Load Powered by Photovoltaic Generator
Abstract The present work describes the analysis, modeling and control of a cascade DC-DC and DC-AC power conditioning stage to control a output voltage to supply a DC and AC load systems. To maximize energy extracted f...
Dynamic Simulation and Optimum Operation Strategy of a Trigeneration System Serving a Hospital
Abstract This paper presents a numerical analysis of a trigeneration system in a hospital, aiming at determining the cost-optimal operating strategy as a function of the energy demands to be matched. The system includes...
Probabilistic Seismic Hazard Deaggregation for Karaj City (Iran)
Abstract In this study the results of PSHA deaggregation for 5%-damped 0.2, 0.5, 2 and 4 s spectral accelerations, corresponding to Mean Return Periods (MRPs) of 50 and 475 yr for Karaj city was presented. The aim of th...
Preliminary Experimental and Finite-Element Numerical Assessment of the Structural Performance of SMA-Reinforced GFRP Systems
Abstract In this study, the feasibility and potentiality of a novel design concept is explored by means of small scale experimental tests and Finite-Element numerical simulation. Taking advantage of the intrinsic potent...
Evaluation of Customer Behaviour Irregularities in Cameroon Electricity Network using Support Vector Machine
Abstract Non-Technical Losses (NTLs) in the Cameroonians electricity network are approximately 30 to 40% of production and are estimated at several billion CFA francs per year for National Electricity Company (ENEO); He...
