SYNTHESIS AND EVALUATION OF NEW 3- SUBSTITUTED-[3, 4-DIHYDROPYRIMIDINONES]-INDOLIN-2-ONES FOR ANALGESIC ACTIVITY

Abstract
45 New 3-substituted [3,4-dihydropyrimidinones]-Indolin-2-ones have been synthesized and tested for Analgesic activity by Eddys Hot plate method on swiss albino mice. Among them compounds AJ43, AJ45, AJ41, AJ16 and AJ17 exhibited higher Analgesic activity. However, the Analgesic activities are lower than standard pentazosin.
