Synthesis of derivatives of hydroxy-2H-1-benzopyran-2-one using microwave-assisted and conventional heating methods

Abstract
As a result of the conducted experiments under microwave radiation and under conditions of conventional heating, a number of high-purity derivatives of hydroxy-2H-1-benzopyran-2-one were obtained. The conducted spectroscopic measurements and compound analysis showed that the majority of obtained products exhibit interesting spectroscopic properties, which allows their use as a molecular fluorescence probes.
