Abstract
In the article meaning of polyurethane foam as well as basics of its production are presented. Requirements for IT system, which could support technologists in the process of preparation of recipes to produce polyurethane foam are described. The IT tool is a kind of advanced calculator to calculate many important parameters within a technological recipe to achieve polyurethane foam of a certain type. Further the elaborated prototype system is described. Thanks to the tool the process of polyurethane foams recipes preparation is relatively quick, integrated and complete.
