Tasks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in combatting crime

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the tasks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the field of combating crime. It was emphasized on the relevance of the chosen topic, where the author determined that in connection with modern threats and in order to ensure the national security of the state, counteraction to the actuality of crime, the issues of improving the activities of specialized bodies, which are intended to combat crime and ensure stability and law and order. The author points out that such a body, which occupies one of the central places, is the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The article defines the main concepts, namely: the task and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The author came to the conclusion that the tasks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the field of combating crime can be defined as the aims of the activity aimed at achieving a certain goal, in this case - the fight against crime, as enshrined in the norms of administrative law. At the same time, the author points out that the task of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the field of combating crime is placed in normative legal acts of various legal force, which at the moment needs its systematization and ordering. The author came to the conclusion that the tasks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the field of combating crime were laid in 1991, when the Laws of Ukraine "On the Armed Forces of Ukraine", "On the Defense of Ukraine" were adopted. But considering the realities of today: the threat of terrorist activity and the activities of sabotage groups is sharply the issue of bringing domestic legislation to those processes taking place today in Ukraine, especially in the context of revising the tasks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the field of combating crime. It is concluded that the fulfillment of tasks in the field of combating crime will contribute to the stable development of social relations, the maintenance of law and order and peace, which will also ultimately influence the further implementation of the activity of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the field of combating crime.
