Technology Performance Measurement Using Hybrid Model

Abstract
"I n the present competitive age, the organizations try to gain competitive edge. In order to gain competitive edge, the managers need to have some information about the function of their organizations and to decide how to improve them. Therefore it is necessary to use a method to gather the information about the performance. There are various methods to evaluate the performance in which the criteria for efficiency of units is that they should be placed in efficiency frontier. These methods ignore the role of no-zero input slack and output slack variables in production and consequently lead to lack of enough accuracy in evaluating the unit's functions. In this article, the Hybrid model is used in six Decision Making Units (DMUs) and according to results, it is presented as a more accurate and comprehensive measure of evaluation, and efforts have been made to present more realistic results for making decisions."
