TEIGENVALUE PROBLEMS IN STABILITY OF INDUSTRIAL STEEL BUILDING WITH A HANDLING SYSTEM

Abstract

The paper presents the eigenvalue problems of the stability of industrial steel buildings with a handling system. The aim of the calculations was to determine eigenvalues (critical forces) and corresponding eigenvectors for the building structure adapted to a crane operation. The FEM analysis was performed using Robot software. The impact of discretisation on the values of critical forces obtained was also examined.
