ТЕОРЕТИКО-МЕТОДОЛОГІЧНІ ЗАСАДИ ДОСЛІДЖЕННЯ ДІЯЛЬНОСТІ КАРПАТСЬКОГО КРАЮ ОУН В УКРАЇНСЬКОМУ ВИЗВОЛЬНОМУ РУСІ (1945-1954)

Abstract
У статті досліджено теоретичні та методологічні засади вивчення діяльності Карпатського краю ОУН в українському визвольному русі. У структурі методологічного знання виокремлено три рівні: філософський або загальнонауковий, конкретно-науковий та інструментальний (прикладний). Поєднання загальнонаукових, міждисциплінарних та спеціальних історичних методів і принципів історизму, науковості, об’єктивності й багатофакторності, пріоритетності задокументованих фактів з одночасним використанням системного та комплексного підходів уможливило розкриття означеної проблеми. In the article theoretical and methodological grounds of the study of the activity of Karpats’kyi krai (the Carpathian area of the OUN) in the Ukrainian Liberation Movement are investigated. In the structure of methodological knowledge the following three levels have been differentiated: philosophical or general scientific, concrete-scientific and instrumental (applied). The general scientific level of research is founded on the juncture of the key epistemological bases of philosophy of history (in particular, on the analytical and narrative ones) with the defining theoretical and methodological approaches to the solution of the scientific problems, namely – axiological, synergetic, hermeneurtical, civilisational and phenomenological. As is notified, the concrete-scientific level of the research methodology is represented by such approaches as synchronously-diachronic, regional, systemic and complex, as also by the association of the principles of historicism, scientific character, objectivity, factor multiplicity, and priority of the documentary facts. The instrumental level of methodology is represented by the use of concrete research techniques, such as general scientific (abstraction, analysis and synthesis, induction, deduction, classification, logic, typologization, generalisation), interdisciplinary (comparative, critical, systemic and structurally-systemic) and specially historical (comparative-historical, problematicchronological, periodizational, retrospective, statistical). In this respect the external and internal criticism of sources has been used with the aim of as much authentically, representatively and deeply as possible to disclose the development of the Ukrainian Liberation Movement in the Carpathian area of the OUN. The unification of general scientific, interdisciplinary and special historical methods and principles of historicism, scientific character, objectivity and factor multiplicity, priority of the documented facts and simultaneous use of system and complex approaches has made it possible to restore the functioning of the Carpathian area of the OUN in 1945-1954.
