Abstract
The article contains the presentation monograph of Eugene Waśkowski (published in 1936) on the theory of interpretation of civil law. Waśkowski is a supporter of the traditional theory of interpretation that favors legal certainty. His remarks about the equity and the principle of clara non sunt interpretanda often inspire discussion.<br/><br/>
