Abstract
In this paper the author presents the issue of miracles in the twentieth century Russian thought, as examined on three planes: of religious philosophy, atheistic, and apologetic (Orthodox). The paper points to the variety as well as specificity of the understanding of miracle in the theories of A. Losev, P. Florensky, L. Shestov, and N. Berdyaev. It also discusses the Soviet dialectic materialism's approach to the issue of miracles, as well as the attempts to find grounds for the possibility of miracles according to the Orthodox apologetics in the context of polemics with the representatives of atheistic worldview.
