Terroryzm i wojna sprawiedliwa Josepha Ratzingera

Abstract
According to Christian theologists, war is a result of the human sin. Just like the Church teaches the believers how to fight the sin and its results, one of its tasks is also to advise how to prevent and avoid the war by showing conditions un-der which it may break out. What is terrorism and what is a righteous war accord-ing to cardinal Joseph Ratzinger? The Christian idea of respect and love towards people collides with the idea of “holy war” which is proclaimed by the Islamic ex-tremists. A human has the right to righteous defence and he might ask himself in what way should he react to violence and aggression aimed towards him. In line with the Church’s ideas, Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger aims to point out the ways of searching for solution which would prevent the destruction of civilization by terror-ism.
