Abstract
Ştefan Manic was born on March, 22, 1947, in Stolniceni, district Hînceşti, a village located at the edge of the forest. He inherited, from his parents, the love for nature, which later made him become a student at the Faculty of Biology and Chemistry of Tiraspol State Pedagogical University (1965).
