The Analysis of Magnetic Field Measurements in a Public Access Area
Journal Title: ANALELE UNIVERSITATII DIN CRAIOVA - Seria Inginerie electrica - Year 2016, Vol 40, Issue 40
Abstract
This paper describes a case study referring to the magnetic field measurements performed in a public access area. Compared to the standard limits regarding the human exposure to electromagnetic fields, the measurement results were significantly higher. Based on these results and the scarce data regarding the magnetic field sources in the area, there are discussed several cases of power lines configurations and their corresponding magnetic field levels.

A PROCEDURE FOR SPECIFIC MAGNETIC LOSSES CALCULATION IN FeSi ELECTRICAL SHEETS
The losses in the magnetic circuit of electrical machines produce machine heating and reduce efficiency with implications in lifetime and energy save. The factors that affect the losses in magnetic circuits of electrical...
Predictive versus Classic Control of the Induction Motor Drives
The paper deals with techniques which use the predictive concepts in order to obtain both the pulse width modulation strategy of a voltage fed inverter and the predictive control of the induction motor drive. Concerning...
A MATRIX APPROACH TO MODEL SHIPPING TYPE COLORED PETRI NETS WITH PRIORITIES ON COLOR MARKS
This paper presents a transport model which allows coverage in a single model of various components, actions, attributes, priorities of a transport system (military or civilian). A description of the complexity of shippi...
Testing a Filtering and Regeneration System on a Recuperative Stand
The paper has three main objectives: the presen-tation of a laboratory model of a system for active filtering and regeneration (SISFREG) developed through an applied research collaborative project in the frame of Partner...
Improving the Shunt Active Power Filter Control Methods under Distorted and Unbalanced Grid Voltages
For a proper operation of the shunt active power filters, the current reference detection method must be robust. This means it must extract correctly the fundamental frequency even if the grid has distorted and unbala...
