THE ANALYSIS OF OPPORTUNITIES TO USE THE LEAN IT CONCEPT IN MODERN ENTERPRISE

Abstract
The article concerns the nature of the application of the lean IT conception to optimize business processes and organization’s IT infrastructure. The development of the lean manufacturing conception and its real positive impact on the functioning of the company became the justification for the implementation of the lean principles and tools to all areas of the organizations including software engineering and information technology. The dynamic development of IT becomes both reason and opportunity for effective elimination of waste emerging in business processes. Analysis of trends and directions of IT development allow to advance a thesis that the rationalization and optimization of IT processes using the tools and techniques of lean IT will be a priority issue for the coming years. The developed lean implementation model leads to increased application productivity, reduced defects and shortened solutions delivery time.<br/><br/>
