The analysis of road safety in Poland

Abstract
In recent years in Polish cities there was rapid growth the number of road users, also proportionally increased traffic intensity. Economic development of the country favours these tendencies and in the near future will be visible further growth of road users. It is inevitable that this situation affects on increase of the number of accidents. National Road Safety Council with Police Headquarters monitors in annual reports effects of road accidents. The purpose of this article is analysis of road safety in Poland for years 2006-2015, it means for nine years period. These data can be used to create prognosis and indicate operations for improving condition of road safety in next years.
