The Assurance of Higher Education Quality in European countries: Experience for Ukraine

Abstract
The article is devoted to the European systems of quality assurance in higher education. It is determined that there are three types of educational models in the world: English, French and American. It is mentioned that there are two groups of approaches for providing and evaluating the higher education quality. The essence, structure and basic standards of standards and recommendations for quality assurance in the European Higher Education Area are described. The experience of Great Britain, France and Poland regarding the higher education quality assurance is analyzed.
