THE ASTROMETRIC RESULTS OF OBSERVATIONS OF PERIODICAL COMETS AT KT-50 TELESCOPE IN RI “MAO”
Journal Title: Odessa Astronomical Publications - Year 2017, Vol 30, Issue
Abstract
The astrometric results of the observations of 10 periodical comets in 2017 are presented. The observations were made with telescope KT-50 telescope in RI «Mykolaiv Astronomical Observatory». The differences between the measured from observations (O) and calculated from ephemeris (C) positions and their mean square errors (MSE) were calculated. The ephemeris positions were taken from online computation service HORIZONS (JPL NASA, USA). For the measured positions the average MSE values are 0.17˝ in right ascension and 0.18˝ in declination respectively. Analysis of the values (О-C) before and after additions of obtained positions to Minor Planet Center (MPC) database revealed a gradual decrease of these differences with respect to the ephemeris. This indicates that the using of the new high-precision positions allows us to refine the calculated ephemeris. As well improvement and lengthening of the astrometric datasets play important role in the modeling of the cometary nongravitational effects.

NEW APPROXIMATION OF THE ENERGY SPECTRUM OF PROTON SCR
In this paper, we consider a new approximation of the integrated energy spectrum of protons of solar cosmic rays (SCR) in the range Ep> 1-100 MeV. The sample studied contains 342 proton events for the period from 03-02-1...
RESONANCES IN ASTEROID SYSTEMS
Today the following types of resonances in the rotation of celestial bodies in the solar system are known, namely orbital, spin-orbit and spin-spin resonances. This paper presents our computations of these types of reson...
SEARCH FOR VARIABLE STARS AND THEIR STUDY
We search for variable stars and study them using our CCD observations, observations available in the CSS, NSVS, ASAS-3 and Super-WASP online public archives. Our CCD observations were performed using the Zeiss- 1000 tele...
MOLYBDENUM AND RUTHENIUM IN THE GALAXY
We present a brief overview of the molybdenum and ruthenium present-day nucleosynthesis calculations and abundance determinations in stars belonging to different substructures (populations) in the Galaxy. The following...
