The author’s attempt of representation of the history of generation in the novel by Dmytro Keshel “Parents”

Abstract
The article deals with the specificity of representation of the history of the Carpathian region and local people in the autobiographical novel by Dmytro Keshel “Parents”. The attention is focused on genre specificity of autobiographical prose, the originality of the representation of the characters that emphasize the main character’s feelings, which are associated with the author’s attitude to the world. It is concluded that the author uses comic category well in the novel, and his writing skills of language resources are appropriate.
