The ban of Burka: brutal elimination of a person or a violation of fundamental rights?

Abstract

Starting from the legislative ban of burqa in France, the present article examines whether laws such as the above respect religious freedom and freedom of expression, which indeed constitute undeniable achievements of the Western culture of Enlightenment and Rights,or not.
