Purpose. The characteristics of one of the oldest Polish traveller’s guides entitled Italian Pilgrim or a Short Description of Rome and Other Outstanding Cities in Italy, moreover the presentation of its author - Franciszek Cezary and the significance of this publication among the oldest Polish guidebooks.
