The Coding of Intellectual Capital

Abstract
The input of the of the new economy is knowledge, which is obtained by coding. Companies and countries that can code the information correctly will achieve intellectual capital and competitive advantage. It is esay for physical capitals to own, calculate, account and use for companies but for knowledge. Therefore, coding of information is a process that needs to be learned. This article articulates the deficiency of production of Turkey's intellectual capital due to inadequate coding and shows how to implement the quick reference guide to eliminate this deficit. Coding is the formulation of intellectual knowledge to produce a higher-value added. While preparing a quick reference guide, the list of stakeholders is revealed and interviewed and observed to all parties. Insights are gathered from the answers. Similar insights are clustered within the framework of concepts. Concept headings are the main headings of the reference guide. General and detailed explanations about implicit information are providing to the users. The issues to be taken into consideration during the coding process are: the purpose of writing are to reveal the activities of the company, carrying out the coding process jointly and participating in the team of the practitioners, gathering the notes around the main titles, sharing the written guidance to the stakeholders and getting their approvals, teaching/sharing them to the employees, and keeping periodic maintenance of the reference guideline.
