The Common European Framework of Reference

Abstract

The process that led to this common European framework of reference was initiated in 1991. It emanates from the Council of Europe. Recall that the Council of Europe has supported the implementation of the Basic French (1950), he contributed to the threshold level, which he established in the 1970s a project entitled "Modern Languages" and another project called "Education for Migrant Workers in Europe". He contributed to the spread of the communicative approach.
