THE COMPETITIVENESS OF THE TRANSPORT COMPANIES AS AN ECONOMIC CATEGORY

Abstract
A transport complex is an important constituent in the structure of economy of Ukraine. The effective functioning of a state transport system and its including in a world transport network plays a determining role in economic development of country, forming an internal market, strengthening the transfrontal copulas of Ukraine with the outer world. The purpose of the article is research of competitiveness of transport enterprise as an economic category. The increases of inflexibility of methods and forms of display of competition, acceleration of rates of changes of market parameters, caused the objective necessity of improvement on the Ukrainian transport enterprises of going near a management their competitiveness. The article of research is a competitiveness of transport enterprise. The basic methods of research is a method of analysis, synthesis, comparison, method of systematization. Method of analysis and comparison the international competitiveness of transport company (TC) and competitiveness of TC is used for consideration of concepts at the market of international transportations, method of synthesis – at certain features of management of enterprise a competitiveness, method of systematization – for the exposure of aims and principles of management the competitiveness of TC at the international market. In the process of writing works are got scientific and practical results: specified essence and characteristic signs of concept of competitiveness of transport enterprise; certain and grounded comparison concepts international competitiveness of TC and competitiveness of TC at the market of international transportations, aims of their management. A competitiveness of TC is system ability of TC to use expediently the competitive edges at the concrete market which provides satisfaction of solvent demand of users with a maximally useful effect, productive functioning of enterprise by comparison to competitors and its withstand development. Characterized the competitiveness of TC duality: from one side represents the productivity and efficiency of economic subject in relation to competitors, from other – both the productivity and efficiency of TC depend on character and force of its competition position and ability to realize the competitive edges. The concept of international competitiveness of TC can be characterized as summarizing, and competitiveness of TC at the market of international transportations – as specifying. International the competitiveness of TC by comparison to the competitiveness of TC at the market of international transportations has more wide scales and targets of management.
