THE CONCEPT OF “COUNTERSIGN” AND RELATED TERMS

Abstract
The work discusses the meaning of such terms as “countersignature”, “countersign”, “countersigning”, “minister’s countersignature”, “authentication”, “endorsement” as well as correlation and demarcation of these conceptions. The place of countersign institute in checks and balances system is analyzed. Ways are proposed to improve legislative regulation of this institute.
