The concept of the impact of innovation-cluster development on the competitiveness of economic systems

Abstract
Annotation. The purpose of the article is to theoretically substantiate the innovation-cluster development as a factor of growth of competitiveness of the meso- and macro-level economic systems. Methodology of research. Achieving the goal carried out using the methods of analysis and synthesis, systematization and synthesis, induction and deduction, correlation and regression analysis. Findings. The importance of cluster development for ensuring the global competitiveness of national economic systems is substantiated. The author defines the concepts of «innovation-cluster development» and «innovation cluster». The concept of innovation-cluster development as a factor of growth of competitiveness of economic systems is developed. The means of supporting innovation-cluster development of economic systems are systematized. The developed conceptual model of forming an innovation cluster in the economic system is presented. The system of intercluster interconnections, reflecting the influence of innovation clusters on the development of meso-, macro- and mega-level innovation systems is formalized. Practical value. The main scientific provisions of the article can be used in the practice of functioning of innovation clusters and state management of innovative development of the country.
