THE CONTAMINATION PROCESSES (SEMANTIC ASPECT) IMAGES OF A HORSE ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE ICONOGRAPHY OF ST. FLOR AND LAVR

Abstract
The subject of this article is “The contamination processes (semantic aspect) images of a horse on the example of the iconography of St. Flor and Lavr. The aim of it is to examine the symbolism semantics of the portrayal of a horse in the icons of St. Flor and Lavr. The icons lead their history from the IV–V centuries. At first, the icons carried the complex symbolism contents. An icon is a link, which ties the earthen with the spiritual. The iconographic image is a symbolism if we consider it as an individual system with some contamination processes.
